Mercedes Comand 5.1 kit
The latest original multimedia system Mercedes Comand Online 5.1 from Mercedes G-Class 2017 model year with full integration into Mercedes Gwagen W463 from 2008 to 2012. This kit includes all frames, wiring and components needed for installation and correct work of Comand Online.
List of equipment included in this kit:
- Оriginal Mercedes Comand 5.1 system with W463 firmware. Comand unit, TFT display, LVDS cable.
- Joystick control unit. Joystick controls the Mercedes Comand system. It is installed instead of a pocket with a curtain, which is located after the armrest. There are 2 joystick options to choose from. Includes joystick, frame and wiring.
- Central locking button. It is transferred from above where the emergency light is at the moment and is installed near the gearshift selector next to the High/Low key.
- Lin-CAN adapter. The module required to convert the Lin signals of the lower control panel (OBF) into the CAN signals of the car.
- Lower control panel. A control panel with adapted firmware and button logos that are transferred from top to bottom where the emergency is currently located. OBF panel with modified rear wiper and washer buttons.
- The frame of the air ducts. A frame that allows the use standard deflectors and an existing differential lock control unit. It is possible to put a new frame with new buttons. Chrome locking buttons is an option + 450$.
- Decorative oval frame. The cladding frame of the Mercedes Comand system and air ducts. By default, it is painted in the color "black lacquer". There are also variants of this frame in the "carbon" version and “wood trim” of those colors that were installed on the G-Class from 2000 to 2008. Wood trim option + 180$.
- Bracket-frame for the monitor. This bracket is necessary for the installation of the monitor and the possibility of installing the speaker of the central channel.
Protocol converter adapter. Adapter that matches Comand 5.1 signals with the car's CAN bus. - A complete set of new wiring required to connect the Comand 5s1 to the car.
